I CONTACTED THE SCHOOL, AND THE PRINCIPAL - THREE TIMES. I GOT THE VOICE MAIL AND NO ONE HAS RETURN MY CALL. MAYBE IT IS BETTER TO CONTACT MR ODONNEL THE AD...... I AM NOT SURE WHAT I CAN DO LOG ON MY COMPUTER CLASSES. ALL I NEED IS A LOG ID. RIGHT NOW, I THINK IT IS BLOCKED AGAIN.

My brother and I are coming to a deadline to file Objection to the settlement and final distribution of a rather long ( 3 year) and somewhat complicated Estate (our mother) in which our sibling, our sister, is executor. Without getting into extensive detail with all that has transpired, let me summarize that this Estate was/is a little different in that my mother was a 1/4 owner along with her 3 children of farm property that was finally sold, and after much wrangling, the homestead acreage my sister finally purchased. In a nut shell, in the Final Report, we find that the executor secretly used Estate funds to install a new well and septic on the homestead, actually argued that my brother and me and the Estate cover 3/4's costs, and when she lost that argument, actually stole about the same amount in a bogus funeral expense reimbursement before returning the funds used for the well/septic (although there's a possible short-fall there). All this was revealed in the Final Report and I am baffled that the Estate attorney somehow "missed" the embezzlement and the fraudulent funeral reimbursement.
We have until 08/18 to file Objection and will do so. But to us, a simple restoration of funds, slap on the wrist and a Rick Perry "oops" is not enough. It is particularly egregious because she had the money (from farm rent as part owner) to pay for the well/septic entirely--she did not need to use Estate funds. And she had a goodly sum from the farm sale proceeds when she stole with the bogus reimbursement and deposited back funds for the well and septic expenses. We know the Probate Court will definitely correct the books, but will they do anything more? We approved the executors fee and Estate attorney's fees before we received the Final Report. We don't think our sister should be entitled to that fee. And we are unsure what the Estate attorney's responsibility is in all this. We will contact the local DA here to ascertain possible charges--we think these might be felony crimes, but we really don't want to press charges unless we have to. We think there has to be some kind of significant consequence here. The Estate lost use of that money for over a year, and our sister paid no interest, of course. We may need your help. What can we do? What are our options?
