After her being hospitalized in 2013 for both full knee replacements, At my mother's request, she filed for me to be her Full power of attorney for her. I agreed. Since then she had been doing pretty good for herself. In 2014, after 53 years of marriage, my dad filed divorce papers on her. In Feb 2015, in the middle of appealing the divorce through appealate court, she slipped and fell on concrete injuring herself badly. She just about didn't make it. I rushed her to the hospital where they saved her life. After two weeks of being in the CCU /ICU, she was released and went back to her home that she saved by appealing. She was pretty happy in life. Although she has went through hell with her husband Dale, (with him not splitting his lawsuit victories) and him not paying her on time each month on her spousal support, she is OK. In my opinion, I cannot stand back and allow her to settle for less than she deserves. My mother has always been a extraordinary hard working person, a great friend to all and an overall amazing person. Now, she has been hospitalized for spinal meningitis, she suffered a stroke and strepp pneumonia. She has been hospitalized for a month now. She is getting better but she is very concerned about the bills because of my "Full power of attorney" is being ignored by the first national bank president Mark Kline. (reasons unknown) Mr
Kline has refused to acknowledge my Full power of attorney to the point to where I was even arrested for "criminal trespassing" at first national bank (case was dismissed) (bogus). But he even denied my mother's request to close the account and have it moved elsewhere
I've left several messages and he will not return my calls. He won't call Mom or nothing. My name appears on the bank statements each month and I've always helped Mom with her bills each month with withdrawaling and making deposits. What my question is, "Has my Mother's and my civil rights been violated by Mr Kline's decisions on not allowing myself to help assist my 75 year old sick and hospitalized mother?" thank you sincerely, Jesse James DeBord.
