I, Janice Washington have retained Atty Quinn O'Connell, Jr. and I would like to let him know that all nine heirs of Marie E. Washington's Estate has reached a decision and the Decision has changed to Joint Tenants. Please Mr. O'Connell be prepared when you arrive at the Courthouse in DC on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at 2 pm before Judge Erik Christian to represent me, Janice Washington and Verna Leftwood that we have now agreed that the Deed you prepared should be changed to read Joint Tenants and not, I repeat not tenants in common. Please try to arrive early to speak to some of the heirs before you go before the Judge as agreed. If The Judge need to know why we did not complete the Transfer of my mother Marie E. Estate please do your best to explain. The reason why is because we had to get clarification of the Deed and the Will, and also we had to get all 9 heirs to agree to how the Deed would read. At that all heirs have reached the same decision which is Joint Tenants. I, Janice Washington (co-executor will not be in town, but Verna Leftwood will be there, as the other personal representative of our Mom, Marie E. Estate. My daughter Tanya Washington (202-210-4393) will also be there if you need to speak to her for any reason. you Can try to reach me Janice Washington on 202-210-9520, but I don't know if I will have phone service. Please contact Verna Washington (co-executor) on 301-856-2913 or 301-661-2105 to confirm that we have agreed to change the Deed to Joint Tenants before going to Court. I will also send a copy of a notarized letter stating that I have agreed to change the Deed that you prepared to Joint Tenants. My daughter, Tanya Washington and Verna Washington will have a copy. Please ask for an extension so that you can have time to Change the Deed to Joint Tenants and time to get all of the heirs' signature. I will return on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 and at that time I will be available anytime after that date to sign the new Deed (Joint Tenancy) among all 9 heirs of the property at 822 Shepherd Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20011. Hopefully all will go well and we can wrap this up. I appreciate all that you have done and will talk to you soon.
